I've owned this product for 1.5 years now and it has trouble recognizing machines after a reboot. If a machine has been reboot while not active it will not be recognized by the KVM. Unplugging the KVM splitter connector and plugging back in seems to help. Not very satisfied with this product. |

I just parked one of these that I've been using for over 6 months. Occasionally, the system will have to be powered completely down (so no power is getting to the KVM) in order to get it to switch. When switching, there is a relatively long wait until the computer will recognize my peripherals.
It works, but certainly not well. Get the IOGear --- so far it functions fast and flawlessly. |

It generate ghosting on a 22 inch LCD screen (1680x1050)... probably not bad for smaller resolution. |

Fit the bill perfectly to share my USB keyboard, mouse and monitor between my MacBook and PC. No drivers to install - just plug it in and it works. The ability to switch just video and control and leave music playing on the other machine is a handy feature for sure. |
