Many ways to configure
Once I got the Yamaha YHT-497BL I took it out of the box and heard a rattle in the center speaker. It works okay but don't know the long term. I am one of the very few that do not subscribe to cable or satellite so using my tv tuner is a disadvantage unless I go out and purchase yet another special audio cable to send to the Yamaha receiver. Beyond these issues the system did go together well. You would do well to solder the cut leads of wires to your speakers to keep from fraying. Bass speaker works quite well compared to my former ancient Sony system. So far I do like it overall.
