This is an ok card if you don't intend to keep it more then lets say 5-8 months because the fan on this card went bad on me after the first 7 1/2 months. I probably wouldn't recommend this card because it is on the cheaper side as far as parts and quality so they could have done a better job with that. Id say for the money its ok if u just need something for a couple months to 6 months but after that be thankful if the cards fan or the actual card still works after that. Overall its a cheap card as price and quality goes so its up to you if you want to take gamble and buy it.

Fan siezed. Started making a noise for a few months then seized. The quality of this card is terrible, don't buy it.

I've had two cards die on me now due to the fan seizing up. The first one came defective and the second lasted about 6 months. Poor performance. Thankfully the warranty covered both, but if you're going to end up paying shipping to send back the toasted card every 6 months, it's not worth the 'value' for this card!

It's a card that can preform fairly well except like others I've had issues with the fan. I really wouldn't recommend buying this to save $50 or so. It's just not worth it. I RMA'd my original one I bought from here and the second one just died recently. The fan sounded almost like rusty metal. Switched to onboard before it went completely (my first one got destroyed at 128 C). Couldn't tolerate the noise either.

I've been running a pair of these in SLI for about six months now and just managed to toast the second cooling fan this week. If anyone wants to know how hot you can get these cards before they fail and/or melt (mine are still going!) - I've seen 114C. on my monitor. Otherwise they get the job done for what is now an even better price. Just don't expect them to last.My next purchase will be an 8600 GTS 512MB GDDR3.
