Good product
This is obvioulsy a lot of eqipment for the money and excellent value. The problem is that I'm way behind in reciever technology, and this one takes some mastering. I find it a bit complicated to set up and use. A work in progress for me.

Solid receiver - good price
This replaced my Sony NR1010, which just didn't have punch or audio quality. My brothers have Onkyo's 607 and 609 receivers, which produced excellent sound. This one follows suit. I have all my equipment plugged into the receiver, with just one HDMI going to my TV. Set the receiver up for pass through, and there's no problem watching video without turning the receiver on. My blu-ray player is Sony, and video pass through is great. Channel separation is great also. I purchased the Wi-Fi dongle, and have no problem connecting to my router wirelessly, and internet music streaming is good, since I live in an area with only one FM station. Have had it one month, so I'm still figuring things out, but initial setup was easy. This is the followup to Home Theater magazines entry level pick last year, and it is a worthy successor.
