Bang for the buck for sure
I had a more than double this price Yamaha die on me one week after the warrantee ran out. I bought this because the consistent positive reviews. Everything with this unit is superb and the sound quality is amazing for a sub 500$ unit. The only bad thing is the menu but after a few minutes you get it and its all good.

Great Value for all the features
Got it for all the HDMI outs. Really cleans up my cabling and makes it easy to control everything with my logitech universal remote. Base was a little boomy at first but seemed to be a crossover setting adjustment. Sounds good now.

Great product, Onkyo quality
I had a Onkyo receiver that I purchased nearly 15 years ago, and the only reason I am even replacing it is because it was before HDMI technology existed. I was able to hook up this new receiver very easily and adjust all the speakers until they sounded appropriately all in a couple hours. This included running all the wires. Assuming this receiver continues to operate as well as the last, I will continue to be a loyal Onkyo customer. You get a great product for a very reasonable price.
