Perfect!

This is exactly what we needed at church to hang our new projector. We have a slightly sloped ceiling, and this is one of the only solutions we found for such a room. It stays right where it's supposed to be. (Tube-to-tube connections have a little play in it, but that would be nearly impossible to not have with this product.) You can run your HDMI and power cables right through the tubes. We're using VGA, which CANNOT fit through the tubes. But we're happy with it and it does the job well!

Acceptable

Overall, it is acceptable. The only downside is when you want to make roll-pitch-yaw adjustment. It's doesn't stay where you want it to stay. You have to re-adjust the locking screws a lot!

Fantastic projector mount

Pros: Solid construction and I love the 360 rotation. I used only the last pipe and got the height I needed. Cons: It doesn't have a hole in the ceiling plate for cables, and the pipes are a little small for vga cable management. Overall: A great product for the price.

It Works

The mount was fairly easy to set up. It came with all the screws and bolts required. The min length is a little long for basement ceilings but it worked out okay for me. It has tons of screws and bolts for all adjustments though. I recommend it as a safe buy (and it's white to go with most ceilings).

Despite all the poor reviews I still got this. It does exactly what it says. It mounts my PTAE4000 very securely onto a valted ceiling. My HDMI and Projector's power supply cables ran through the main pipe just fine. All in all a great product as described. Will recommend.

An Acceptable Product

The material of the hanger is very strong and solid. Design is very poor and useless making cable management impossible per claim. The slot on the bottom ceiling hanger and the diameter of the bottom ceiling hanger were too small and or narrow to accommodate the SVGA plug and the power cable plug as advertised, i.e., Cable Management. There was no slot or hole in the mounting plate for cable management. This claim should be deleted from the plus or asset to sell this item. The mount assembly wasn't as functional as described. We made use of the product because time was of the essence. I would not recommend this product based on claims.

Good Quality Mount

This mount is first quality and very robust. It is a fairly complicated system and doesn't tighten down as much as I'd like, but there is no danger of the projector falling off of it! Cable management is non-existent, and the versatility is limited by the fact that you must use all three pole pieces when assembling. The price warrants a little more than what you get, but it does look good and solid in place!

Nice product.....The Universal Projector Ceiling Mount suits 90% of projectors weighing up to 15kgs (33lbs). It features minimum distance from ceiling 400mm (15 ?'') and maximum distance from ceiling 900mm (35 ?''), pitch and roll adjustment of +/- 20?, 360? rotation.This product is having rotation speed...I did not find any negative features about this product....

I bought this product because it advertised a cable management system, there isn't one! All it is is using the pipes to run your cables, but you can't even fit a VGA end into the pipe let alone all the way through it. There is also no hole in the top to put your wire into the ceiling, so you're left with a big hole on the outside of the mounting bracket. Waste of money.
