A multi-track recording/editing studio
Audacity can record live audio through a variety of sources, such as a microphone, or line in on the Xtreme Sound card. Level meters help monitor volume levels before, during, and after recording. You can dub over existing tracks to create multi-track recordings.

You can Import sound files, edit them, and combine them with other files or with new recordings. Export your recordings in several common file formats, such as WAV and MP3. |
- Easy editing with tools such as Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete.
- Use unlimited Undo (and Redo) to go back any number of steps.
- Edit and mix an unlimited number of tracks. Fade the volume up or down smoothly with the Envelope tool.
- Remove static, hiss, hum, or other constant background noises from your recordings.
- Alter frequencies with Equalization, FFT Filter, and Bass Boost effects.
- Adjust volumes with Compressor, Amplify, Echo, Normalize and other effects.

This card did not work and the software that they say is included was not. I looked at every single file on the installation disk and all over the web site. I put in a ticket with their tech support and I am returning the product after 5 days of no response. I will never use this brand again. |

Not the product's fault, but I wish I'd spent a little more for a 24-bit card... this card does exactly what it's supposed to though! Works nicely, although I wish I could figure out how to got my front panel audio to work with it... |

Good card and it sounds good. The drivers that came with this card placed an invisible icon in the system tray. Downloaded updated drivers from the chip manufacturer's site and everthing worked fine. |

This sound card was a replacement for the sound card on my motherboard. Over it is a great product for the money. It was a bit confusing getting some things to work like the mic on my headset but over all I am pleased with it. |

Picked this up to replace my on board sound card that stopped working. Plug and Play would not pick it up but I installed the drivers from the disc and it worked like a champ. Great value! |
