Good product, doing the job that I purchased for.
I lost the sound section of my motherboard during a power surge caused by a large branch fell across the high power line in my neighborhood. I purchased a Diamond Extreme sound card, which I easily installed in my computer and followed the instructions and now I have sound on my computer again. THANKS

Good Sound Card
Needed a good sound card and have one already used in another build and never had a problem, so it was a no brainer when installing a card in this unit. The only thing though, don't used the drivers on the disc if you are using Windows 7, go to their website.

Cheap and simple
I'll let all you deadheads in on a simple way to disable your old sound if it's integrated in the mb. Just open cotroll panel open sound and gaming on the device management and diable sound drivers, usually two drivers, and then start PC and use disk as told in directions reboot and run. It will do the rest. BUT FORGET BIOS BEFORE BOOT USE CONTROLL PANEL. It's not hard at all.

Great Features
It's a plug and play so easy to install. The CD installs the drivers and sets up module to test out your speakers, balances them for you, etc. Pretty neat. I have had not problems at all with this.

You get what you paid for
It's worth buying if you don't mind the hassle of setting it up, to get it to work you need to open up your BIOS and disable your on board sound controller until you've installed the drivers, which on the CD is useless cause it doesn't support windows 7 so you need to download the newest version from their website. Other than that it works fine and is a good value for money.
