Good starter security camera
The price was good for this product. Set up was medium difficulty, but the set up wizard worked through issues. Support from Dlink for questions, particularly how to set up control options for the camera is non-existent, and is beyond the scope of the set up Wizard. An understanding of network architecture would be helpful. Mobile app works well from my limited experience. I bought 2 more to expand my security coverage.

They deleted the first one so I thought
I would try again. The support is pretty bad. I have problems configuring 'Snapshot' and 'Video Clip'. I finally got 'Snapshot' settings to Save, but still no help with 'Video Clip'. I gave it '4's' hoping to get this one past the Censors.

Somewhat
I am somewhat pleased with the product. Set up was easy and it's nice having the sd card to record to. The app for the iPhone could be better plus apple doesn't support jvav which is the main platform dlink uses. The camera will work for diy security

Great Performance Once Set Up
Overall this camera is functionally fantastic. It has great features and is very well made. Unfortunately one of the things not mentioned is that a connection to the internet is required in order to get the camera set up and work. Once that is done then the camera can function on local and internet networks.
