Good for older machines
Older gear or gear without head phone or mic capabilites, and if your tired of the top mounted USB ports. This is my second one.

Just Plain Love It
I'm really happy with having bought this. Now that floppies are obsolete, it's nice to have devices to go into the 3.5 inch bay. And it's pretty packed with features too. Each USB port has its own cable, so instead of one cable with a 2x5 header on the end, it has one 1x5 (or 1x4+1 I guess I should say) and I have to plug both into the header. But, at least each wire is well shielded. This modest-sized thing has a lot of wires coming out of it, but they're all well labeled and the unit functions perfectly. Again, really glad to have it.

Item works great but....
Have no complaints with the item, works as expected, easy install. The problem I have is the ships in 1-2 days is wrong. I purchased this Apr11 it shipped Apr22, I received it Apr27. Drop shipped from the vendor. Great product but expect some wait time for delivery.

Great for upgrading an older case
Works as advertised.I purchased this unit to upgrade an older eMachines case to support a new mobo with HD Audio (Azalia). With a little simple rework of the aluminum chassis, it fits right in the same spot as the original AC97 audio panel. Quick delivery as always, Thanks!

I like it
Installed in a big old case I recycled. Tested everything worked ok first time. Nice to have the ports up front don't have to crawl under the desk anymore.

Great addition to an old case
I bought this to put in a new build using an old case. Seems very solidly built and installed easily. You do need to be familiar with your MB, and having the manual wouldn't hurt. BUT, it's not rocket science. I will definitely buy this brand again if I need to expand my port count.

Does what it should
I think it's a good deal for the price. Shipping was quick, too. I downrated features only because they don't have one that matches the tan color of my case, but that doesn't detract from its utility. Overall, hard to beat.
