Very Happy
Bought this for my High School son to replace an old Dell desktop. I tried to match my own Gateway laptop, and since Acer bought Gateway, I thought this would work. I'm very happy I did. The Acer laptop works great, has decent battery life, is fast and is everything that was advertised. I highly recommend this laptop.

Power Shortage
It appears that the laptop is good overall, but the battery life is closer to 2.5-3 hours unplugged. It was easy to get it running & relatively easy to unload most of the software I didn't want. Still, it appears to be a fairly good laptop, & able to do the heavy stuff (analyze chess games) I need to do.

Great computer for the value
This is a great computer for the value. I find the keyboard hard to get used to. The left shift key is really small and some of the keys are stiff. Hopefully they will losen up as we use it. That is my only minor compliant with it!
