Great Sound

Just got this sound bar this week. It was very easy to set up. I use the digital audio input from my TV and set the unit to come on when the TV is turned on. I was able to set up the remote from the cable company to control the volume and muting from one remote. Getting the wireless subwoofer to connect was a breeze as was connecting my tablet via bluetooth. If you have a large kitchen and want a nice compact sound system, this would fit nicely on top of the fridge with the sub on the floor nearby. It doesn't just have to work with a TV. I did crank up the level on the sub to +4, but I enjoy a fair amount of bass in the mix. Really happy with the unit.

Not bad at all...but

I got the refurb unit and this is an excellent value for that price point. This is 100 percent better than the stock in-screen speakers on the Samsung TV and I don't know about others, but I can make my living room table shake with the bass turned all the way up. Bluetooth is an added bonus where I play internet radio through my iphone. Now I can hear all dialogues clearly and the 3D sounds works well. Only things I really dislike about this unit is that you cannot turn the unit on and off with the TV remote (Samsung TV). Either you can turn it on and not off, or off but not on, depending on the setup (i.e. optical audio cable, or HDMI with ARC). This is an error on Samsung's design team.

Depends on your expectations

I was just replacing blown out TV speakers and didn't want to add another remote control. Not trying to upgrade anything. In that regard it's adequate. Things worth noting are: Auto on-off only works with optical input. Your audio source (TV) may not allow volume or base and treble control through it's optical output, forcing you to use the sound-bar remote. The sound-bar has no base or treble control. the sound-bar doesn't remember the last volume setting. It turns on to it's default level.

My flat screen speakers needed help

I had low volume on my tv. Wanted surround sound but no way in my tv room without running wires across the floor or an expensive installment contract. That's out so I settled for a sound bar. Its easy to use and sounds great for regular programming but bass may disappoint you during battle scenes, roaring engines or whatever when you want to feel it vibrate your bones.

Best Product and Deal Ever!

I just needed more volume on my tv .I wasn't looking for anything fancy, and this does the trick. The sub woofer seem's to add a whole lot. If you are just looking for more volume than your tv provides, this works just fine.

Nothing special

This product is louder than the tv sound. I feel like i just spent a decent amount of money just to make the volume louder. Subwoofer works as well as my tweeters. No base hardly at all.

Nice addition for added sound!

This is a great addition to my TV. It has enough volume to be too loud! The added bass you can hear & feel is great! Nice having a wireless subwoofer, just plug it into an outlet. It could use a little bit more highs like louder tweaters, but really over all it adds to my TV's speakers & I would recommend one. The room it is in is 15 X 32FT & is plenty loud for thar size room.

10X BETTER THAN TV SPEAKERS

I have this in my bedroom and couldn't be happier. It fills the room just fine! And if I want more I'll go to my theater room.

This sound has a much better sound the TV putout

Read all the match up with the 7000 series smart tv very nicely. Had no problem with hookup or setup. Runs great! It would been nice to have had a IPOD hookup.

Probably not for audiophiles
