You get what you paid for
Picked this up cheap as a refurbished unit. Ohit plays OK, but it's cheaply made. I can see it won't survive very long. Purchased this to replace an older unit that broke for our next family trip. For that, this unit will be fine. Volume is low, but since the kids use headphones, it should be fine. Flimsy palstic door over the player unit and the hinge for the screen looks weak. But for the price, it's OK.

These players are a good buy
I recieved my unit a week ago and it works flawless . Good picture and you can search backwards and fowards and even up to 32x speed. It is not a loud unit so I use a jupiter jack and set my radio to 99.3 and hear it over my stereo.

Dose what I expected
As a nightwatchman, I use it about 5 hours a night, 4 nights a week. It has low volume sound but an excellent picture. I've had no freeze ups nor any other such problems. I use the car cord that was supplied and all is well.

Take your chance with this one!
Unfortunately this unit is available refurbished because of the vast amount of returned New models. Great features and acceptable quality if you get lucky and find one that works. Most of the time this unit will be right in the middle of a good movie whereupon it snags and stops. Can't fast forward when this happens. Oops, no movie viewing! Don't buy this. Save your moola and buy a more expensive brand. Not a bargain when it doesn't work. I know because I bought TWO.
