great laptop

I needed an upgrade as my old laptop was having some problems, and i dont regret it. This vaio gives me what i want to work on school, and play the most newest games like Skyrim,

beware - can't install any other operating system

Sony customizes the operating system so that you can't install any other OS. You must use the factory installed OS. If it is important to you to be able to upgrade your OS or use another one, you won't be able to on this machine.

Motherboards

So i need a new laptop for school, did like 1 month of research and found this Vaio. It worked great until one day after using it, i put it safly away in a secure locker. After 25 minutes i needed it to do some work, so i pulled it out to work and the screen was very dim. I took it to our Tech. Professional, and he did some tests and found out that the motherboard broke. So i had to send it back to Sony to be repaired. It took 2 weeks and i have it back with no problems. Great Computer, i use it for everything. Runs TF2 amazingly and is fast, after i removed the freeware.

Great Buy!

I bought this for my wife's B-Day. Shipping was fast and delivered on the day requested. It has ran great out of the box and continues to run flawlessly 2 weeks later. Handles games very well. We will see how it handles the new games when D3 arrives next week.

Bad case design

Outstanding as a computer, but after a week cracks have developed in the plastic case extending outward from the hinges. Going back to store as soon as I get my personal data off it.

Bought it for my wife and it made her very happy. She works for a big corporation and uses laptops and desktops all the time so she knows quality when she uses them. I like it as well when I get to play with it.....

Great Laptop for the price!

I've only had the laptop for a few days but so far so good. The quality is not what I expected but it's a Sony and they make awesome products so I'm willing to give them a try. And again the price wasn't bad at all. I was really pleased with the quick delivery considering it was delivered to an APO address which usually take a couple weeks. My laptop was here in 6 days, great! Overall really pleased with my purchase.
