Not worth the time or money
Unless you want a really expensive paperweight or have a child that's just starting to get into portable gaming, this system is a total epic failure. Sony did not think this one through at all. Sure you can digitally download games too, but there's not a lot out there strictly for this system. They really need to bring back the PSP or make more games for this. If you're looking into something with variety, the older PSP 1000 or 3000 (slim) models still work very nicely, or maybe even the PSP Go (though equally a joke too but still has more games). Or even go for the GBA.

Amazing hardware, software needs to be flexible
Very good console and well bundled. Only complaint, as usual with Sony, is the software. In a market where things are leaning towards Android phones and games I don't see why they cannot make a custom Android OS for this device. Would surely triple sales. Still content with it since I do not have a smartphone and look forward to hacking it in the future.

Beautiful and Fun
This system has phenomenal graphics and capabilities. The only problem is the major learning curve for the wide array of controls. I'm good with the standard playstation style controls, but the new front and rear touch panels on the system almost require giant hands to reach the whole thing. Netflix streams beautifully. Biggest drawback is that it uses AT&T exclusively for 3G and their prepaid packages expire after 30 days. So either you use up all your data prematurely, or it gets wasted when the package expires.
