Great SO-HO Server, Great Price.
Had this for about a week now and it is working great so far. Finally have a nice stable Gentoo install compiled, running and working great. The ram that came with the system was actually a 2GB DD3 1333MHz SODIMM. There is also an extra slot for another SODIMM so I will be upgrading this in the near future. The Atom CPU runs surprisingly cool, as I have yet to see the temp rise above 40c in small room with 3 other computers each sitting at around 65c idle. The downside is the mainboard's fan controls need a 4pin fan, but the case fan is only a 3 pin, so the 40mm case fan spins at a constant 10k rpm and puts out a lot of noise. This keeps it cool, but is a bit overkill. Unless you want to risk going passive, You will want to get yourself a few cheap low dBA, low RPM fans or spend the money on an expensive 4pin 40mm fan. I personally will be ordering a couple of 40mmx20mm, 14dBA fans when I grab myself a second 2GB SODIMM later this month.
