Great Screen

So far I've had no issues with the monitor. Worked as soon as I took it out of the packaging and the screen looks good even in direct light with the anti-glare coating. The red bezel isn't really noticeable, which is kind of a bummer for me, but I know some people would be happy about that. The MagicAngle works fairly well; it's better than nothing due to there being no screen tilt

Faulty Drivers and MagicTune Software Doesn't Work

The order process was excellent as usual with Tiger Direct. Smooth and effortless and shipping was far better than expected. That being said the monitor doesn't deliver on it's specs. Samsung's Technical Support was rude and ineffective. I would advise anybody considering this monitor to look elsewhere for another monitor by another company. Samsung's Customer Service and Technical Support was some of the worse I have ever encountered professionally or personally. I do Deskside support for a living and if my technical skills and customer service was this bad I'd be embarrassed. I'm returning the monitor

light bars bleeding through screen

I bought this product at Cyber Monday prices (i.e. $179.99) - so it was a nice deal in my opinion. My only disappointment was not having a DVI port. Since the LCD uses an LED backlight: the screen is lighter, brighter, has higher contrast, and uses less energy. Sweet.

Another great product from Samsung

I received this monitor a few weeks ago and love it. It's big but wasn't expensive. I saw a cheap no-name product the same size at a offline retailer for the same price. I went with Samsung as I had another monitor of theirs for several years. I love this monitor. The quality is great, the picture clear and bright and it's not too large to sit on a desktop and use for surfing the web or hardcore gaming. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a great monitor at $250.

It's just an ok product

I ordered this product 3 weeks ago, it came with no connector (the middle part that connect the monitor and the stand). So my monitor is laying flat on the table.I called samsung. Samsung said that will ship me the connector. But I still haven't receive the missing part yet.

worth the money

I use this with my laptop to give me a bigger screen and this is worth the money paid. Its a good size and the resolution is awesome. For under $300 this is worth it.

This is a real good one.

Works as advertised right out the box. Perfect for basic computer work, watching movies to playing the usual run of games. Clear, clean screen, very good contrast and color. A guide or manual is good to consult, but not needed for a seasoned user. A very competitive & gets-the-job-done monitor. I have no complaints with this one. Lengthly research paid off now you don't need to use up all that time looking.
