It works great under suse 11.2. Use saa7134 drivers with card 10 tuner 68 here in the US (NTSC, tv, composite and s-video). I can't comment on the win software as I don't use windows. I only gave this product a 4 out of5 on everything because the documentation doesn't mention much of anything. Like, how you can't route audio through the PCI bus. Audio is passed through the card to the line-in of the sound card only. |

I installed everything and once it came to the activation code it came up invalid every time. I tried to contact the company through phone and email and received no response. They must be scammers and do this all of the time. When I called their voicemail sounded very generic. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! |

Very poor product. Channels were off by one number. Fine tuning did nothing. Spend a little more money and buy something else. |

I have tried this on a Gateway 5464 with Vista Home Premium and on a Dell Dimension 2100 with XP service pack 2. In both cases, it would only pick up 2 of the over 80 cable channels, whereas a more expensive card in a Dimension 2400 picks up all of them. The installation manual was incomplete and its font was microscopic. I couldn't read the example screens even with a magnifying glass! The help screens referred to features the system did not have, and there was no customer help phone line available.

First off, the Software that was included - WinDVR 3 had the serial number for the install printed on the back of the CD envelope, however that serial was invalid so I couldn't even get the WinDVR program to install.
Window Movie Maker, and Sony Vegas both detected the TV turner but neither would actually pick anything up from it.
The product is not worth your time and frustration. Go with something more expensive and a well known company. |
