Below average picture quality

This TV met my expectations except for the picture quality. The picture quality is not crisp or as clear as it should be considering the specifications. It was no better than my 15 year old RCA tube. It is below average both for cable and with a DVD player. Shipping was fast, set-up was easy, and the features were as advertised.

Great Price vs Value except for the sound quality

Great Price. The picure quality is good. It only has two HDMI ports so remember this if you run multiple devices or games. The sound from the speakers are our only complaint. I recommend a sound bar with this set. I have an older theater sound system that makes up for the cheap speakers and makes this a great buy for us!

great tv and price

bought tv on january 30, got it 5 days later. tv is awesome. picture quality is as good as any i have seen in other brands such as vizio and samsung (i go to best buy or costco usually), maybe even better. the sound is fine. the remote code for cablevision remote is 588. The RCA codes work for this tv. I paid $550 + $60 shipping-price includes $100 mail-in-rebate. Could not be happier with this purchase.

Excellent Value

I was first a little bit suspicious about a brand I haven't heard about. However, I took the chance on them. this is a great value for the money. Picture quality is great. The frame around the screen is small, so the TV doesn't look to big. Be aware that there are only two HDMI plugs, but for me it doesn't matter since I am hooking up the cable box, BluRay player and Apple TV up to my AVR. Can only recommend this TV. Smoothest Picture I have ever seen on a TV !! WOW

Just got this TV as an upgrade from a 42 inch Sanyo I Loved the Sanyo just moved it to the Bedroom. But This TCL has such a Great picture that I now would only rate the Sanyo with about a 3 and before I got this TCL I would have given it a 5. WOW is all I can say about the picture. The only bad thing about this TV is the speakers are not quite as good as they could be but I just hooked up an old set of Computer speakers and it is great. I will be getting a sound bar in a month or so and should be even better. But other than the speakers I could not ask for a better TV.

I used more than 10+ TV in my life. This TV gives me a deep impression on its picture. So fantastic and vivid. consider the price, it is a must.

Amazing deal!!

The picture quality on this tv is fantastic! I did some research before purchasing this to find the best quality for the lowest price. The 240Hz refresh rate is ideal. It makes screen transitions very smooth. Equivalent tvs by brands like Sony or Vizio only have 120Hz refresh rates, and it honestly leaves something to be desired. Also, the picture quality is so crisp! Honestly, I don't know why some reviewers complain about the sound quality. You can't expect theater quality sound without a surround sound system. Expectations should be within reason. This is definitely the best deal for your money!

Great TV !

I've had the TV for about a month and have few complaints. The price was great - that's a given - so don't expect the deep colors and picture of more expensive sets. It also is a pain with universal remotes as they don't recognize the brand. Sound is decent but I have a surround sound system anyway. I would definitely recommend this TV!

You can't touch this quality at this price level

I was hesitant about ordering this TV because I've never heard of the name until recently. Upon researching reviews I thought I'd give it a try. It was delivered within a week of ordering it which was pretty fast for such a large item. I installed it on a wall mount and away we went. I was really stunned at how vibrant the colors are on this TV. The HD channels are very crisp and look as if I'm looking through a window. I watched the playoff games this past weekend and no blur in action. Speakers are not bad but a little tinny. I purchased a sound bar with subwoofer to go with the TV. The only thing I would add is the same as another reviewer. If hanging on the wall, connect all of your cables to the TV first. It is not an easy TV to make connections once it is mounted. Other than that, I highly recommend this TV.
