Pain in the neck, but finally got it to work
Bought it specifically because it would work on my Windows2000 laptop according to the specs. Even the box confirms this in two places. However the disc which comes with it does NOT contain any W2000 software. I tried to call their '24-7 support' for over an hour and it kept saying no one was available and literally said: 'if you need immediate help call back later'! That was worth a chuckle. Finally searched their website and found a download for the W2000 software and got it to work as expected. This would have been a real problem if I didn't already have a wired connection as well to connect to their site. Comes with an extension USB cable because it is just a smidge too wide to fit into some USB ports and not lift the PC off the table.

Dont bother with this!
Bought a new desktop, the adapter installed perfectly but i received terrible signals and random blue screen crashes... I tried it on a different new computer, and it doesnt work at all. It installs fine, but cant connect to my internet, keeps disconnecting and even if it does connect miraculously, it sits at 1-3 bars but the webpages still never open.. My 2year old laptop wireless adapter is x1000 better than this...so i have to connect my ethernet cable from my laptop to the desktop to use internet right now. I think ull have to sit beside ur router to get it to work.

A breeze to use with Ubuntu Linux
Wireless networking is always a tricky proposition when you use an OS other than Windows. The adapter manufacturers keep their designs close to their vest and thus a product compatible with Linux is often a frustrating experience. This adapter worked right out of the box on Ubuntu Linux 12.10 without the need for downloading drivers or employing the network device wrapper software some other devices require. It just works, and I love it!

Works as advertised
Easy setup on a Fedora Linux system. Works as advertised. Connects at up to 65 MBps through several walls and 1 floor. The card it replaced could manage 150, but it had three external antennas. This product is a great value and has performed reliably so far.

You won't go wrong.
Works fine, runs cool. Wish it had a stand for extension cable, but it works ok without it.

Wow!
This adapter worked perfectly! No sweat. I installed the software, which was trouble-free, and I was up and running! Love it. Wish I had bought a trainload of them, and sold them for twice what I paid. Price was right!
