Now this is Turbo
I am very surprised how fast this thing responds. I expected some kick and got more - had not heard much about the 3820 at all. I did cool it with water cooling (21 C) and radiator and it performs over the 3.9 GHZ rating with no problems. My prevous CPU could not overclock even an extra 300 mhz from 3.2 GHZ. This is a very good CPU

Wooooo!
Very good cpu. Absolutely obliterates prime95. Coupled with the h100, 100% load on all cores doesn't rise above 40 degrees. Totally worth it. Love it!

Great CPU
Bought this CPU a few months ago when building a new system since it has the locked multiplier it would only overclock to 4.4ghz but it does so very easily and under load never reaches 43 degrees with a corsair H100 and has plenty of power for any game out there right now or for cad programs or video editing. Also does extremely well in benchmarks for only being a 4 core with 8 threads.

Fast CPU great for Cad-Cam
I use this for power programming in a Cad-Cam product this with high end 32 gigs of ram and SSD this is a great computer.

wow the CPU is fast and OC to 5Mhz with a ASUS Rampage IV Extreme X79 Motherboard , jest the best cpu out for $300 windows index is 7.9 u need some fast ram to keep up with this cpu
