Best Router Ever!!
I have practically tried all brands out there. Except for the D-Link 524, all had issues with hang-ups, conneciton drops, poor wall penetration and poor speed. TP-Link has been running continuously for last 6+ months with 0 issues. The long range is especially a boon if you live in a 2 storied house.

No distance transmitting
Fairly easy to set up, but couldn't get any distance transmitting from it. It's in my basement and I have to be right above it to get any service. I hoped with the extra antennas that it would have more distance.

Complicated to setup, WiFi jumps on and off. Security access very limited.

very good product
i bought this router after looking for and reading reviews of just about very router out there(just a few days of looking and reading LOL). in my opinion a very good router, not as easy as plug and play, i had to reconfigure some setting in my modem setting and did alittle research online to figure out the error codes, after about two hours of trying to figure these things out i got it working and by the way this is the first router i have bought and installed. i have had the router alittle bit over a mounth and have had no problems what so ever it has been working very well. the only thing i noticed is that it does get alittle warm i have mine on top of a divice swicth box and i put spacers between the two just cause. the range is excellent, whole house coverage with full bars on any device that is connected,i got good coverage in the front and back yards, about two houses to either side and across the street. thats all i can think of

No problems with MY cable box. Great router.
Had a TrendNet router for about 4 years and it finally died. I THOUGHT I'd been having trouble with my cable box, but turns out it was the old router dying. Got this one, connected it to my desktop, ran the software and was connected quickly to the internet. Couldn't get my laptop to connect and it was because the old Trendnet settings were still on it. Uninstalled the old Trendnet, rebooted, laptop recognized the new router and BAM! was connected. My Kindle was a breeze too. After working on my desktop and my laptop, I noticed a HUGE difference in speed. Could have been the old router, but I really think the new router is just doing a better job. I can take my laptop and my Kindle outside in the garage, out by the pool, under the patio, and I STILL have 4 out of 5 bars of strength. Don't be afraid of this router. It's worth the $50+ bucks!
