failed in 30 days, taking my PC with it
This unit failed to work properly from the beginning. First the Power Alert software would not recognize the battery backup. Spent hours on hold with Customer Service, only to be hung up on after 20-30 min, time and time again. Never got to speak to anybody on this issue. Later the unit started shuttng itself off for no reason. It finally shut down for good, taking my PC with it. At least the PC power supply failed when the UPS failed. Tripplite is replacing it with another unit, but I don't trust it, and will not be using it. DON'T BUY THIS .

Great value, plenty of power
I have had the Pro 1200 for a few weeks. Works great, easy set up. We have lots of dirty power around here and have had no hicups from my CPU's and network. I have 2 CPU's, server, router, modem, 1 laptop, and one LCD monitor pluged into it at only about 25% load. Only con I have it the feet for standing upright are ugly, they double as rack mount tabs, a more stylish stand would have been better.

This UPS is simple to setup and works beautifully. What's really nice is that this unit is stylish, jet black case with the blue LCD display - making it easily match my living room decor. Its great piece of mind know this unit is there protecting and regulating the incoming electricity from all the spikes and dips common in my area.
