pc working excellently for what we purchased it
We purchased this pc for schoolwork and general web surfing. It is working excellently for that. We've not even begun to push it to any limits. We don't do much gaming or video editing. --- update Sigh. Before the end of October, the pc developed sleep-wake problems. Once it goes to sleep, it won't wake up again and stay waked up unless it is restarted completely. Now have to figure how to get it repaired while keeping something available for schoolwork. The pc wasn't even two months old. This is not acceptable quality. Grr.

Great laptop for the price!
I needed to replace my old Compaq laptop which died. I read many reviews on various laptops but I did not need a high end pc for gaming. After much hesitation, I decided to giove the Acer a try. It had decent reviews and was cost effective based on the features I was looking for. I've had the pc for about 3 weeks now and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's faster than I expected, has many great features and provides everything I needed. The customer service team was awesome to deal with (as usual) and they answered all my questions. The price was less than expected and it came with a $50 rebate! So far so good!

College Bound
I bought this for my son for college. Sofar, he says it is doing the trick, and of course mom likes that fact that the HD Camera is a nice to have for Skype-ing with her son. The only problem that my son has brought up is that the keys stick. Thought they had that fixed.
