Although this unit is listed as DVI-I (integrated digitial and analog), when connected to a VGA port on a computer and a powered, 4-port DVI-I KVM, it's a complete dud. No signal whatsoever. Docked all its performance points due to that.
Seems solidly made, although the VGA-end screws are tiny and hard to manipulate. Docked a feature point.

I bought this not knowing that the new video card I bought already included an adapter. Still, it does the trick, simple and effective - let's you hook up an older VGA monitor to a DVI video card connection.
