Recommended to ALL
I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I am a gamer-A few days ago, I have done some research about the graphic card this laptop holds. Results did not reach my expectations. Therefore, I have originally purchased this laptop for music, work, and entertainment. HOWEVER, after trying out a few games such as Diablo 3 & Starcraft 2 (highest quality) I have come to a conclusion that this was the best deal ever. Only downside I have to say is the 4GB ram but that is easily upgradable.

Great
This laptop is everything i expected and more. Its stylish and it very fast. Only problem is that you have to preset which programs get to run nvidia but otherwise a great laptop and a great buy.

Outstanding Laptop
I started my computer experience in 1982 as an Aerospace Engineer here in Central Fl. I bought this laptop A53SD-TS71 AKA K53SD about 2 weeks ago. No technical details. (Most of you already know them) The Machine: The construction and quality of this model is unsurpassed! It's a first class computer. If it wasn't, I'd tell it as it is. There are a few things I'd like to see ASUS change but they're my own personal wishes. (More USB slots, etc.) Finger prints? Give me a break! After receiving it and using it a few days, I realized that this laptop configured as it is, was worth MORE than what I paid for it: $700.00 not including a 3 year extended warranty. This Quad Core (8 processors) easily handles the biggest, baddest, solids modeling, and heat modeling software, on a Laptop!! Truly stunning. Cons: Win-7. A truly convoluted experiment in backwards movement. (XP-64 + a simpletons cryptic GUI). IMHO. An absolute sleeper under $1000.00!

Everything I expected and more....
I bought this laptop after 12 years of getting by with a dinosaur of a laptop. I did expand the memory. It runs all the programs I need with no lag, and the screen is vibrant. If I were to nitpick, maybe the integrated webcam could have better resolution, but even that does what I need it to do. This has been with me on three business trips so far and it never seems to lose a step. This is a great system for the money. I'd highly recommend it.

Great Product
Lets just say other than the 4gb ram part which is easily upgradeable, its an amazing laptop. And for the person who said they upgraded to 8gb ram for $15... can you please share where you got the ram for so cheap from?
