Randomly Locks Up
Must have gotten a lemon. When watching videos the system randomly freezes. Tried the latest firmware and drivers from the Lenovo website, better, but not fixed. Also, tried different RAM, PCI video card, and PS--no change. When it is working, the performance is excellent. Past the 14 day return period, so no returning this one. No more Lenovo products for me.

Had to send it back
Could not get this PC to access lots of common web sites. Lenovo support had no idea why and MY ISP could not figure it out either.

Everything I expected and wanted.
It was delivered quickly, easily set up. Came with keyboard (I don't really like that much) and optical mouse. No parallel port for my favorite printer, though. All of my stuff worked on it without hassle except that I haven't tried my Sibelius music notation software. Does everything I wanted so far including playing higher video speeds. Good value for me.

Great for the bucks
I don't know much about computers but this one seems to run really quiet and fast with no problems showing up as yet after a couple of months. I do not know where you would go to get better buy!

a good buy
I'm no real techy per se but I have owned duo cores, quad cores, AMD, Pentium. This was an upgrade from a backup computer I was using because my HP quad core went kaput. (shocker there) My backup was a Compaq duo core with 1 gig ram. Yeah it was that old. Needless to say this is much faster than that but it's not exactly blazing like some of these reviewers say. My guess plants from Lenovo PR debt. Price? I got it at 100 off and I did a price comparison, that was in fact, the cheapest price offered any where. It was selling for 550 at a bunch of places. So for the price? This really is a worthwhile buy. It starts right up, updates easily and quickly, recognizes internet right away and handles multitasking with relative ease so far from what I can see. This is not a gaming computer, nor should you really look to get this for high end graphic work but for minor gaming, like facebook games and general multitasking. This is a definate recommended buy.

Best deal on this product
This was really a good deal. A week after I purchased it, it cost $40 more. I'd seen this computer elsewhere for less money later, but further research showed it had only an A6 processor, or less. There was not a lot of bloat ware installed on this machine, which is highly unusual for a major manufacturer's model. Pretty blazing speed and top quality for a machine in this price range. Does everything I need it to do. Actually using it at a small business. Handles every task quite well.

Great Computer
It performs really well with viewing multiple tabs on the internet, and plays high quality video very smoothly. Like the previous poster I had researched the AMD A8 processor. I found that it didn't have an L3 cache in the CPU, but did have 4MB of L2 cache. Im no expert on this, but it wasn't a big deal to me considering this machine has a 4 core processor and 6Gb of Ram. Also, the integrated graphics GPU is one of the most advanced to date.

SCREAMING MACHINE!
I reviewed the chip on this bad boy before I purchased it. It out-performs my son's Intel I5, and my friend's Intel I7. Faster, better graphics, more ability to multi-task. INCREDIBLE value under $500. I don't feel the pressure to add a vid card. I played Kingdoms of Amular on highest settings with only a little stutter. I haven't pushed it hard yet, but could download large files like Lord of the Rings Online while streaming video content, surfing two sites and burning cd's to my itunes. All without lag. Even with the other activity, I downloaded the game 10 hours sooner than on my son's I5. If you need to upgrade from a dual core machine or from a Celeron processor like I did, get this beauty. You won't be disappointed.
