Very Pleased

I'm not a gamer, and I bought this for photo rendering and video production, as well as general use, so there were a few things this computer DIDN'T have that I needed. One was an SD card reading slot, and the other was MS Office. I plugged a $9 card reader into one of the USB front ports, and bought MS Office for $130. Problems solved. For photo rendering, here's some data: Doing a 24''x36'' Mosaic using 10,000 tile photos used to take six to seven minutes on my old box that had a q6700 quad core processor. Now I can do the same mosaic in 30-40 seconds. I like that. This unit supports dual 30 inch monitors at 2560x1600 resolution, and I like that, too. Everything about this unit is solid and FAST. Much quieter than my old desktop from the same company. Very satisfied.

Excellent and FAST computer!

This is first of all for Frank. I hate to be blunt, but I have to. You should send your computer back. You do not understand anything about it apparently. First of all, this is too much machine for you. It has a main solid state drive, with Windows 7 64-bit Pro. When you run games, you load one at a time, since the solid state is 256 GB and made for bootup speed and efficiency, and does not need to be defragged. You use the larger 2 TB drive, being slower, for data, videos, and photos. I have all the Fear games, and since the solid state is smaller capacity since you are paying for price versus capacity, you install that game until you finish playing it, then you uninstall it. Solid state drives are not first made for storage. They are made for efficiency and speed. This is why there is both a solid state hard drive and a slower, larger, but cheaper spindle 2 TB drive. And whenever you buy a pre-built computer you update the drivers hardware and software.

Ready to roll

Customer service called twice before the box arrived -- once to tell me it had been shipped. Who else does that? These are real people with English as their primary language. Priceless. Everything arrived well-packed and ready to roll. Everything was loaded and operational at plug-in. Perfect machine for video editing. These guys are really good!

Much better than I expected.

I bought this computer for mostly video editing. I was using a Core 2 quad 2.8 and a toshiba laptop i7 before. I used to edit, enhance, and render 30 minutes of blue ray video to disk in just under 3 hours. I used to let it work after I went to bed. Sometimes I would awake to a complete video editor crash in the morning, and a wasted blue ray disk. The average time ratio was 5-6 minutes of render for 1 minute of video. I never expected the speed off this unit. I edited and enhanced a 30 minute full 1080p video to blueray in less than 15 minutes and the CPU didnt break a sweat,and the editing software was more stable on this unit. Now my unit was modified with a second 256 SSD for rendering purposes which im sure helps, but still this machine is a rocket. On all programs there is no wait. Compared to my Core 2 quad, and my laptop i7m, its at least 10-15 times faster. I didnt think I would need 32GB of ram or SLI, but im glad I did. Very impressed!!!

Awesome Machine

I've been using this computer for about 3 months now. I have no regrets. The speed is fast and even when doing heavy rendering or video compositing, it works like a champ. It's a fairly quiet machine but everything works the way it should so far. I am very impressed by it's performance. I played Unreal Tournament 3 on it and it ran really well at the highest settings.

So far so good

I'm in agreement with all positive statements so far. It arrived quickly, well packed and with no shipping damage. All the extra cables are a plus (actually they are ours but most other builders keep them!). Withholding my 5's until I finish transfering all my files over...

Im not impressed

I have had the SYX Venture SG-200 and I am not inpressed. I have not done much with it so far the C drive is almost full after installing FEAR 2 and installing Starcraft 2 to the D drive. I have many excell spreadsheets I use for my business and it takes a long time to bring them up. You would think a machine that cost this much would be snappy and sharp and sadly its not. I think I could get the same speed with a much cheaper machine. Games do play well and look good.

Worth the Money

I was hesitant to purchase this machine at first because of the brand. I have to say that this machine is not only the fastest PC I have ever owned, but seems to be one of the better built. After great comparison to other name brands, you cannot get the bells and whistles this machine has to offer for the kind of price tag put on it. This is the best deal for the money that I have been able to find on the market. All of the parts are of high quality. The packing for shipment is also good. Now to the hardware. I have played a few games on it, all of which are quite graphic intensive, and with the amount of RAM, along with the video cards, I don't believe there is a game out there that can slow it down. Standard software operation is amazingly fast. The solid state drive really makes a big difference in performance. Standard operating, I am only using 8 perc. of physical RAM. The machine rates a 7.8 out of 7.9 on the performance scale.

First day, pleased ootb

what a complete package! upon opening the box, you are greeted with two boxes and the tower. one box contains a logitech mk200 media combo, and the other is overflowing with all the cables and extras left over from the psu, mobo, graphics cards and others. 2 hdmi cables too. I was happy before even turning it on. The wiring is nicely done, and the noise level is decent. the video cards are sparkle sx560t1024d5mh 384 core. as of today, its smooth sailing, no regrets. Ill add more if I need to, but otherwise, you should click the buy button.

Best computer yet

I bought this machine to do photography. Works great, looks great and it's a very fast machine. Despite the high end components, the box runs cool.
