Works perfectly
Works just fine. The description said SATA or PATA (which was too much to hope for); but IDE PATA (the older style) works just fine.

Ignor the Instructions
Yet another company that did not feel it worth the cost to update the instructions, either online or in the box. Proper setting is ''Set Jumper to CS (Cable Select)'' NOT ''Set Jumper to Master Only''....

Just what I needed!
Well made and did the job. I actually removed the hard drive temporarily after installation and used the connections to activate an old CD drive I had also pulled and needed for a disc readability test, then reinstalled the hard drive with no problem

Great way to use old HDD
I upgraded to a new computer but I wanted to save the files on my old HDD. This enclosure did exactly as I expected. Easy to assemble and Windows 7 recognized it. Now I have an external HDD to load up with photos and music without loading down the internal HDD. I recommend it.

Sabrent
No complaints on this product. Shipping takes some time, but I don't know if they could do much to change that. Would be nice to get orders a little faster. I have gotten a couple of bad products from here. But for the most part, this company sells good stuff. I would recommend the drive inclosure to friends.

I made the right purchase
The Sabrent hard drive enclosure case was the first Sabrent device I've purchased. It arrived quickly in perfect condition. I put the unit to use immediately and found it worked just as I had hoped. I plan to purchase more Sabrent products as the need arises.
