Stay away from refurbs!!!
I have set up 5 of these same model systems and I love them. The only problems I have had was with the two refurbished units I purchased recently. They worked for a few days then the cameras started cutting out. When set to motion activated recording they actually blacked out when motion was sensed. The only other problem I had was that the system would also lock up. Both refurbs had these problems. Now on the other hand, the 3 new systems I bought worked great! The video quality was descent for the price. They were easy to set up and didn't take much time to get going. The online and phone app viewing was a great plus since these were all for a business. I would recommend these as long as you wasn't buying refurbished units. There should definitely be better testing done before they send these out.

CHEAP CHEAP DON'T BUY!!!
Only started to install and one of the brackets to hold the cameras is inoperable. Can't mount a camera, can't get a replacement......POORLY manufactured! save yourself a headache......

Good dvr ok camera
I have worked in the industry so I have some inside input. The DVR it''s self is a good unit. Does not offer some of the functions of some higher priced units but for 99% of the people this unit will do the job. The camera's are a low grade camera but work. Only real problem in they do not have good colar in the daytime. Set up of unit was easy and only took a few minutes. Connected to internet and this works great. Downfall of the internet side is connecting to an Android phone. The app that came with this unit will not work so you will need to call the company to get another app. The app they resommend does not allow you to view recorded info or all cameras at once but it is quick and has good video quality. So overall I will give this unit a 5 in the consumer market a 4 in the proffesional market. Enjoy!

Quality control?
So far power supply doesn't work, scrounged up another one. 1 camera doesn't work, hopefully warranty will replace it. Hard drive not working, no recording, live vid only. Hopefully all issues will be resolved.

Great Budget System
Works well...easy to configure. Cable leads on camera need to be longer. It was a little difficult connection cameras under the eves of the house.
