This is a great case! It doesn't include the flashier features like the VFD panel and remote but for the price it's a good deal.
There's a mile and a half of cable inside and everything's as standard as you can imagine; ATX power, LED/switch connectors, etc. They've even gone as far as stamped the metal near the screw holes to identify where the posts should go for which type of motherboard.
My biggest question when looking at this case online was, what's the deal with the CD drive cover thing? One reviewer here noted there's no way to push the CD drive's eject button. This is true, but the entire right hand panel swings down and clicks in and out at the top. Behind it are 3 - 5 1/4'' drive bays and your CD drive pokes out the spring loaded door in the top section when it's closed. You can just push-open the entire cover, revealing the drive and push its button. I just needed a desktop case and it's fantastic for that.

I like this case, stacked everything on it (rack system and all), didn't even need to bust a finger to put it together. As someone said up there though, wish it had a floppy (not like we use them anymore). Surprisingly quiet for three installed fans!!

I got this case to replace a defunked crap case that was given to me. Im using this as a small media server device in my stereo cabent. Im using an older Abit IC7 mother board with a EVGA 6800 gs Agp video card. 2 500 g Hds and a dvd burner. The install was easy.I took my time because ther external usb/firewire and audio cables are freaking 3 ft long.I couldnt believe it, Since i dont have the media lab option so I just stuffed the excess cable back into the front panel then routed the wire under the MB and to the connections on the MB.. worked very very well and Im pleased with it for now.. But i have to wonder why in the hell do they give you 3 feet of cable for a goofy 14 in internal area? I routed at cables and pluged everything in with no problems. I removed the 3.5 cage from the system because i didnt need it, and to tell you the truth im pretty sure that if you did use it for drives it would be a very tight fit. But the HD cage hold 2 drives easly and altho they hang over the

There are no scratches on the back of my hands, as there is pleanty of room for installing hardware. The case feels solid and looks nice with the LED displays. Too bad there is no IR receiver, so the glass window area that should show the IR receiver instead displays the front of mounted hard drives.

Large and heavy case that will accommodate ATX, mATX, and BTX mobos. The CD door works well and doesn't require double-sided tape. Cooling fans are surprisingly quiet. Plenty of room to work inside, although you have to temporarily remove the SATA cage every time you want to install a PCI card. If you forget to put the 3.5'' cage back in before you install the motherboard, you are not going to get it back in later. (I don't need it, so I left it out to make room to tie up cables inside. Heavy, sturdy build. The only downside is it is a bit large (deep and tall) but then you get more room to work inside and add expansion devices. Good value.

Shared
Memory? Or Where Did My Memory Go?
Your computer uses memory to run your
Operating System, applications, peripherals, and to generate and display
graphics on your computer monitor. Video memory is a form of RAM, and is
either built into your motherboard; or on a graphics card (video card).
Depending on the motherboard's configuration, and that of the video card (if
separate or built-in to the motherboard), your computer may have to draw on
its own RAM memory to meet its video memory needs. This creates shared
memory, where your computer’s RAM will be shared between its own Processor
(CPU) and its graphics chip.
The result is that some systems will have
shared memory, some will not. If you have 2GB (for example) of system
memory installed, you may notice that your system reports significantly less
memory. This is because your system is using shared memory for your
video.
What can you do about this?
You can actually configure this shared memory through your computer’s BIOS
settings. However, this is a setting best left alone, since it is
typically optimized for display performance, and making changes may impact
display resolutions, and other video capabilities.
The simplest solution is usually to either:
increase your system memory; or to upgrade the video hardware. By
upgrading to a new video card with built-in video memory, then turning off
shared memory, you will free your system to use it's maximum potential
memory, and provide your system with much more robust video features.
How Much
Memory Do You Really Have?
When you look at the specifications for a computer, it will display the
installed memory, and typically the maximum memory that can be installed.
However, while these are real values, they represent a potential useable
memory depending upon the installed operating system, and other factors. The actual useable memory may be different
(lower) from these values.
The reason is simply that a computer may have a limitation in the operating
system (such as Windows 32 bit versions), or configured to use shared memory,
which reduces the amount of RAM that is available to the CPU by using
some of it for other purposes, such as for video memory. In some
cases, you can control the maximum useable memory through system settings,
by upgrading from a 32 bit to a 64 bit version of Windows XP or Vista, or by upgrading to a video card that has internal onboard video memory.
But always
remember, that the amount of memory that your system reports, is not always
the amount of actual installed memory. For example, if you have 4GB
installed, 32 bit versions of Windows will typically report 3.2GB due to a
limitation of Windows itself. Also note that different Windows
programs report available and maximum memory differently, which can be
confusing. If you find that you need more
memory, we suggest expanding your system memory, since this is the most
effective performance increase, and the one that is easiest to perform .
