Nice & bright, but a relatively narrow coverage
What is there to say... it's an expensive energy efficient LED lightbulb. Somebody's making a killing on these. But I wanted something for my garage that would last longer than incandescents and be bright instantly unlike CFLs in the cold. It takes half a second to turn on after I hit the switch. It's very, very bright. The only thing I dislike about it is that it tends to cast its light in a beam. A wide beam with lots of light bleeding out around it, but a beam nonetheless. This would be a great light directly above a workbench or a doorway, but if you are looking to light up a large area it's not the best choice.

Surprisingly bright with full spectrum
I bought two of these for outdoor all year use. They are very bright, have a full spectrum like an incandescent, are unaffected by the cold and are vastly superior to the CFLs I was using that are dull and have a warm up time. I only rated them fair value because they are expensive but I think they are still good value and prices will eventually come down. Even at these prices they are worth it.
