Awesome fan, perfect for air cooled heat syncs.

This fan worked perfectly for my Cooler master Hyper 212 heat sync (air cooler) since its the identical fan included. (You never want to mix fan types on your cooler, identical rpms and blade shape make your cpu cooler work efficiently) PROS- high rpm, quiet enough for inside the case, great quality, 4 pin for speed control from my MB CONS- Plastic is opaque black while the other fan I have is transparent, not CM fault just being picky

Perfect

The fan to have for the back of a case (or anywhere else for that matter). 4-Pin and allows motherboard power management features to control. Silent and great airflow.

Quiet and effective.

Ordered 2 for a push-pull setup on an H50 radiator. 1 fan was DOA and I will be returning it. Installed the other along with a spare fan I had. The Cooler Master is quiet and works well.

Best value if your mobo supports PWM

If your motherboard supports PWM (4pin) you must get PWM fans because they are capable of running a lot slower since the speed is not controlled by voltage. This allows you to really set a super low speed until things heat up. This fan is about the best value in PWM fans. Unfortunately there is not the widest selection of PWM fans out right now. I use 2 of these on my radiator.

Good performance, but not the quietest

I'm using one of those paired with a Antec 620 H20 Cooler. Since this is PWM, the RPM (and noise level) is controlled by the motherboard. It is not the quietest though, and I was looking for quieter. Also tested using a ARCTIC COOLING F12 PWM, which is much quieter, and just good enough for my needs.

Works

Added on to my Hyper 212+ for push pull with a Y adapter so I could plug both fans into my CPU fan header. Users note: These types of fans with sleeve bearings are supposed to be mounted vertically. Horizontal mounting shortens the lifespan. But does it really matter if you loose 10 percent of the life of the fan.

Only one problem

Excellent PWM fan. My only complaint is the cable is much too short for mid and full size tower cases and extension cables are not easy to come by.

Brrr!

Put this on my 212 Plus so it has push pull and wow! My whole case is cooler. I had to put the Chassis fan on the outside of my case to keep the mb power plug from vibrating on it but it works great! Super fast shipping as always, ordered Wed night and got it Friday!
