Worked great for my projector

With this mount I was able to secure my projector to the ceiling nicely. I needed a mount that could safely hold a heavy unit. My panasonic tips the scales at a whopping 19lbs! The supplied hardware that was included was meant for a 4 arm system (only four screws, spacers, etc.. of each size) My projector likes 5. So I took one of the longer screws and cut it down to the length needed, used the extra arms provided, and everything worked like a charm. Balance is the key when mounting it. I attached the mount, tied a heavy string to the center post of the mount and lifted straight off the counter. Offset was way off center. Loosened the arm screws and slid the mount over till it was balanced forward and back, side to side. Once mounted to a rafter in the ceiling I was able to loosen the aim adjusting bolts aim and re-tighten with ease. I'm happy with this mount.

Great Price, Great Mount

I received the mount yesterday and installed it in about 30 minutes. It comes with a multitude of hardware to conform to whichever projector you have and each is labeled and separated so you're not digging through a pile of screws and comparing them to a diagram. Most of the time was spent pinpointing the overhead beam for the lag bolts, but other than that, it was a quick setup. GREAT BUY!

It works with large projectors

I used the mount to hook up my gigantic 6500UB which is the brother to the 8500 and it fits. It took a little bit to figure out the best configuration for the extension arms, but once done, it was pretty easy to get mounted. Solid steel, good quality product, may take somebody good with puzzles to figure out hole alignment, but other than that, it was definitely worth it.

Good Projector Mount

This mount was the right price, however, not the best mount for the money. Good for close mounting to the ceiling. In my case a drop ceiling in the basement. Used with an Epson 8700UB it was a bit tricky getting the bolt span. This mount is definitely better suited for a small projector. Claimed to be designed for a 30-something pound projector, it lends itself better to a small footprint model. I made it work with some clever manipulation of the support arms, but would not recommend for a projector like the 8700. Lots of parts make it like an erector set, so you be the judge. Well built materials gets a 5 for quality. Nice mount for smaller projectors.

Good Product

The unit was fairly simple to assemble, but does take some attention to detail and small bit of time due to the fact it is made to fit so many sizes. Tools are included, and all the parts are very well packaged and labeled. Very easy to adjust multiple angles and the quick disconnect feature is very handy. Unit is very solid and stable as long as everything is tightened down appropriately. Overall: Great unit for the price!

Mount was exactly what I needed

I was sure it was so quick to set up, but it was not , why someone design something like that? sure it can be used with many different products but the way they did this is from a stone age .. I owned before mount system that works with one click , now I am going to change the bulb and will have to struggle again with it from the beginning, removing it from the celling and from the projector , this product should be for industrial usage only , I dislike it from the moment I opened the box , it is not customer friendly and be sure that you own some handy stuff at home that allow you to install it ... it will not work straight from the box

Worth The Buy

Go this for my Epson Projector and it took some time to figure out the instalation process. Once acheived it works great.
