Nero - Never Again
I will never purchase another Nero product based on my most recent experience with Nero. I have been using Nero products since at least Nero 7. I recently upgraded to Nero 11 only to find that it would not even install, let alone run, under Windows 8. About 30 days later, Nero announces the release of Nero 12 which does support Windows. Silly me to think that given I had upgraded to Nero 11 less than 60 days before, I would get a no cost upgrade to Nero 12. Now I have an upgrade that I have paid for and will not even install. Nero's solution is for me to to now upgrade yet again to Nero 12 for another $50. So it is clear that soaking me for another $50 is way more important to Nero than having a happy customer, my continued business, and just doing the right thing. I don't care if this is the best multi-media editing product on the planet, they have lost me as a customer forever and I will insure any company I am involved with never purchases a Nero product.
