Just what I needed

Nothing wrong with it, just wrong pin config
There is nothing wrong with this adapter, it just wasn't the correct pin config. (i.e., not the product's fault). But it sure won't hurt to have it on hand, so I'll just keep it (surely we'll run into needing both DVI-D and DVI-I adapters!)

Use Video Card to Run Two DVI Monitors
My video card had one DVI and one VGA output and I wanted to run duel monitors but both were VGA. This adapter resolved my problem. Both are up and running great.

Perfect for its job!
I purchased one of these to adapt a DVI output to a VGA monitor. Works perfectly for it's job. Price is nice too, $10. The screws to tighten the adapter to the plug are a little short! Be aware that if this is plugged into your video card and someone accidentally bends it down, its probably gonna break something.
