Works great in my desktop Optiplex 960
I needed quiet drives for the family room after a few hard drives got loud on me. I got some 2.5'' to 3.5'' conversion hardware to add to these and popped them in. I installed Win 8 on these and these work great.

Always trust WD
Western Digital drives have always been good to me. I have yet to have one fail (knock on wood!) only replaced them for larger sizes. This drive works well, was easy to install and suits my needs tremendously.

not sure about this one
I installed it in a friends laptop to replace a smaller drive, she is happy with it but so far it is working well let you know more if it takes a dump later been about 2 weeks now
