Excellent replacement hard drive.
Ordered this hard drive to replace an older none functional hard drive in a mid 2000s HP desk top. This hard drive out performed the original and my computer is up and running better than new. I would recommend this hard drive!!

Good drive
This is a very good drive (fast, efficient, quiet), but it could have been a bit less. The 500gb model went on sale one week after I bought this one for $5 more. Grrrrrr.

New Life for Old Work Horses
I replaced the 150GB hard drives in two 5 year old HPxw440 Core2 Duo work stations. The Western Digital HDs added capicity and run silently. Major improvements for a modest price.
