My first projector

This is my first projector and it works great. I am pleased with this projector, it was a great deal and shipping was fast. We have used it for indoor and outdoor movie nights. My kids love to play the Xbox360,PS2 and the Wii on the big screen. If you are planing to use it for gaming I suggest a RGB to VGA adapter which was not included; in order to get the best HD quality projection. Movies and games look good using the compsite or s-video input, but they look incredible in HD with a RGB to VGA adapter.

Love it! Great value!

You can't beat this projector for the price. I often use it in a small classroom and project it straight on the wall. It has a great picture. Hooking it up is simple and it's very easy to use. It is lightweight and comes in a durable carrying bag which I use when traveling. I have been very pleased.

Bang for the Buck

The combination of Lumens, XGA, and 3D Ready at the price point was too good to pass up. Replaces an aging projector and the difference was spectacular. There are a couple features I would have liked, but would not find in this price range. Given the brightness, we use it throughout the day even though the room we project in has the most ambient light.

Very happy

Ordered and received in three days. Have used it as a rear projection unit at a community theatre production for three weeks. Easy set-up, great picture. Very good value for the money. Have been very satisfied with Acer computers and monitors. Hope the projector lives up to the name. I'd buy it again.

Excellent Bang for the Buck

Researched these projectors for nearly 3 months, for best set of performance characteristics. Ordered this Acer and it arrived in 3 days. Never having operated one, this came to life right out of the box and connected to my tiny Acer Aspire netbook computer. Throws a great image even in a room lit by florescent AND incandescent light fixtures. XGA resolution is crisp for graphlines and data, high contrast leve, colors are, well, natural, and focusing is precise. Bought this personally for small group presentations in public venues,i.e., large meeting rooms, to teaching a foreign language in a classroom. It has a quiet operation at a low dbA level. Connections enhanced by USB input port, something not typically seen in this price range.

Best Deal on a Projector You Can Get

I looked for a projector for weeks and I couldn't find anything in my price range that met my needs. As a photographer color and brightness are super important. I needed a minimum of 2000lums, the Acer is 2300 for a great bright screen and it has a throw of over 30' (10m). Colors remain bright and my audience could see my work well. The only drawback is that the wires really don't fit in the case. Other than that this is the best deal you will find.

Great Value and Performance

We have been installing projectors into our conference rooms. With a price point this good, it only makes sense to make them permanent. The quality of the image is very good. A good investment to make our business meetings productive.

Tricky 3D

Great projector at a great price - but, if you're planning to watch BR 3D, be advised, it may not be as easy as it sounds. You must have a PC with sufficient power AND a little bit of luck that they all work together to process 3D. Mine didn't, even though I followed every instruction. After three days of searching the forums, I found a tip in the AVS forum that suggested hack that puts in a line of code that forces the video card to process the 3D info so that TMT 5 recognizes it and sends the info to the projector in the required sequential frame format. Best value available today

I have researched the market, this is the best value available. The resolutions and lumes are higher than others in the same price range. It has good brightness even in day light. Overall the best priced projector available.
