Painfree replacement
I purchased this drive to repair a friends 4-5 year old laptop. Dropped it in the hard drive bay, powered it up and loaded install disk without a hitch. .

Great Replacement - EASY to do

Nice Drive
The drive comes preloaded with the necessary drivers which is a great asset. Of course, I formatted the drives prior to using which made me download the instruction sheet and the proper drivers; but, that is what happens when you do not read the instructions. I am using two of these in a RAID 1 configuration. I did not get an instruction manual which made me take off one star.
