Very versatile tablet
This was purchased for my niece as a belated b-day present. At first, she was disappointed that it wouldn't allow here to download any of the Android based apps. After some searching and came across a You Tube video that instruct you how to convert her Nook into an Android and ran it off the removable micro SD card. She absolutely can't get off it now.

Solid product
Bought NC a year ago. Works very nice. The last software update greatly improved the reading experience. I also installed Android 4.0 on an SD card (relatively simple). But I never use it. Stock OS is fine for reading, web browsing and watching movies.

Wife loves it
We got this primarily as an ereader with email capability. It has had some hangs with connecting to out home wireless but eventually straightens out. As an ereader, it is straight fives across the board. There are some problems we had to take it to a B&N to get straightened out. They need more apps for this at the B&N store.

Great deal at a great cost!
I like to be able to search for different books and get to get a peek at them before I buy them. The Nook does that. Barnes & Noble has a wide selection to allow me to pick what I want.

Great value
I bought this Nook for my wife. I bought her an Android ereader that was a mistake, so I made up for it by getting her the Nook. She has loved every minute of it. It's a much better ereader. As long as you are looking for a reader and not an Ipad, it does great.
