Great product and Great performance

I got 2 of these about 2 months ago. So far they work great. With a high performance HDD - I use WD Black, I can easily transfer over 120mb per sec with USB 3.0 The price is still a little higher than I like, but overall this is a GREAT PRODUCT! Super happy with the purchase so far.

Excellent alternative to an external drive

I was considering an external hard drive to store backed-up files even though I have not had a good history with them. A friend recommended a case for my extra internal drive. I am very satisfied with this case. Setup was a breeze and the performance so far is perfect. I have been using the USB cable and the speed is quite adequate. Next is another case for my EIDE drive. I will stick with the same manufacturer.

It does the job!

It was pretty simple to go together - but then again I've had a little experience doing things like that. Some of the instructions are on the product itself, so be sure to look there especially to hook up the hard drive activity light. I have used both the USB 3 and the Esata on the drive and have had no trouble. The case generates a little heat when left on for long periods - but I have had no real problems with it. If you go to the site you can download a breakdown of the drive and it's capabilities as well as how it fits together. So far a good case - does the job I needed it for - so I would recommend it.

I absolutely love it!

I had my SABRENT ext. drive enclosure fail recently and bought this one to replace it! I love it so far! It is small, highly functional, versatile and well made. With the USB 3 capability, it is faster and that helps with my large backups! I highly recommend it to any and everyone looking for a great, economical, and capable ext. drive enclosure.
