did not work
Did not work. Would not support a usb computer connection to a known working lan interface. Disappointing since I have had good performance with other cables to go.

Works as advertised
Got this adapter to use for my Linux notebook and a Windows 7 notebook. Plugged it into the Linux notebook and it worked with no further intervention. Needed to go to the website to get drivers to make it work on Win7. The CD is more useful as a coaster - don't even bother putting it in your computer. Other than the disappointing Win7 install, it works great and is reliable.
