Simple & quick
Absolutely no problem installing it to replace my rental modem on Comcast. Just gave them the model and MAC from the sticker and was up and running in a few minutes. The rental savings will pay for the modem in less than a year. Speed is excellent.

Great modem, no help for lousy service
Modem works great, easy installation, a great buy. Purchased due to Comcast phasing out DOCSIS 1 & 2 equipment. Now if I could only get the same quality service from Comcast.....

No help for upload
Have had a Zoom modem for about 5 years now, no problems ever. Upgraded to this from a Zoom DOCSIS 2.0 modem. Download speeds went from 15 mbps to 25, but upload stayed at only 3 (or less). No problems installing with Comcast.

Freaking awesome
I went from 5MBs download to 35 (well above what I was paying for). Bad thing I was paying extra for faster speeds for a long time. Ended up needing to upgrade my cable modem to DOCSIS 3.0. Only compliant I have is the MAC address on bottom is very small and hard to read. Once you call your internet provider about upgrading - you need this MAC address. Otherwise you will spend more time on the phone with you internet provider tech support team.
