Great Monitor

I added this to our church audio visual system as a monitor for the choir to see karaoke lyrics to songs we sing at our church!. I cloned the pc monitor to a 52'' big screen t.v and to this monitor. Works great with bright clear picture to both lyrics and videos. I dont use the speakers at all so I cant really give an opinion on that part of it! Totaly satisfied with our purchase!

I don't use the built-in speakers, and do mostly programming on my computer, not videos or gaming, but I have been very satisfied.

Very good value

This monitor was installed to replace ACER that had been giving me problems. I later found that the video card was the cause of the problems but this out preformed the 22 inch ACER it replaced. Only con is it has no HDMI but I knew that when I ordered it. UPDATE Lasted 2 months. Sent it back. Returned several weeks later to work for 1 month. Did not send base back. Had to waite another 2 weeks after fighting with terrible customer service. I will NEVE BUY from HannsG again. Good Luck if you do!

Now good but first unit defective

For the price, it is a great monitor... But after using my first unit for 5 minutes, yellow lines appeared on the screen. My new unit seems to be good so I'm hoping it stays this way. Basically, you get what you pay for...

A very good buy -- but some notes to consider.

I was totally pleased with the video quality of this monitor. It will not disappoint you. --- The built-in speakers are tinny and not worth your time compared to reasonable stand-alone speakers. But they do save space. --- As mentioned by others, the HannsG designers have camouflaged the control buttons with black-on-black styling so that you will need a flashlight to even find them, let alone use them. I had to tape a piece of paper above them, and even then, finding them is a tactile task that causes lots of random menu action; not cool. --- Consider spending another $20 and getting the LED-backlit LCD version. It will last pretty much forever, whereas this LCD backlight has only a few years of life in it if you use it as heavily as I do. But for the next few years, and now that I do not need to adjust it anymore, this was a very good deal.

Great monitor

Great monitor, the only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars on performance is the speaker volume, the speakers are not loud enough. this is a great monitor for the price.
