Can't Beat the Price
Paid under $50 for DSL modem. Doubled the wireless browsing speed of my Verizon DSL connection. Only wish it had an easier to use setup menu for quick changes to the firewall settings.

Works, no thanks to the manual or CD
The DSL modem set up was okay, but the wireless setup is different from the manual which is different from the CD. If following the manual, disregard the wireless set up there and put in your network name, security level and network password key. After set up, the wireless connection showed at 150mbps, and a web speed test showed a slight improvement over my previous Diamond DSL, (35 ms, 2.74, .67)vs (46 ms, 2.66, .66) My Diamond was 12 years old and was starting to get erratic so was hoping for a bit more speed with this one.

worked when it worked, but dropped connection
not xbox friendly dropped connections often returned it to buy something better if you have many connections to manage, try something else

Hiro DSL2
This device is a okay device for its value but it does take a bit more time then I would have liked to set it up. If you are looking for faster less secure internet setup simply fallow the instructions. If you seek more security but less headaches keep searching. I would recommend Cisco if money is not a option.

Good Unit
It replaced a faulty DSL unit with no installation problems. In the brief time it has been operating, there have been no problems or issues.
