A Great External Hard Drive
The drive was very easy to setup and install. Will hold many more photos then I will ever take. Handy for use as a backup drive.

Good small external Hard Disk
Works, doesn't take up much space. If you want USB 3 look elsewhere. Since my computer doesn't have one, USB2 works fine for me. 4 Star performance because USB 3 is not supported.

Results as advertised
When it comes to storage devices, less is more. By that I mean less backup utilities, etc. This unit is an external hard drive at a reasonable price. I would recommend.

incredible tech support
Very nice, compact drive at a good price. I had an issue, probably caused by user error. I contacted the tech support group at Buffalo for help. These guys were great. My call was elevated to level 2, they called back and stayed with me on the phone until the problem was solved 100%. All of this stuff is a commodity and there is lot's of competition for your dollars. Spend them wisely with an organization like Buffalo that will support you and make it right even when it was your mistake to begin with. regards Neal

Excellent Portable HDD
Sleek, compact, portable design (not much larger than your standard 'smart' phone) excellent EHDD for large data & graphic files. Quick; performs very well as a Backup drive.

Excellent For Storage
I've never had an external drive before but needed one. This was a good deal. So far it works as I expected out of the box. If you don't have a backup for your personal items I would recommend this one.

nice price
i purchased this drive to supliment the small ssd in my laptop. since the additional tools installed on the drive were not necessary for my application, i immediately formatted it, and put it into use. it has worked flawlessly, and data access is what i expect out of a usb2.0 unit. definately a good value.

Warning
The product works fine as is...I Tried to install the tools that came with it but BANG! Blue screen of death. Rebooted comupter..(forgot to unplug the device) Windows couldn'T see the device anymore.. Rebooted again.. Windows wouldn't start. Thank god I had made an image backup... Lesson.. just use it as is.. don't fiddle with the tools!
