Fast, Big, Cheap, Small
It can fit in my jeans pocket (albeit, lumpily so), but the USB 3.0 makes it a really fast way to back up my system and it's big enough to back it up and keep archives. I'm actually running it with a bootable partition as well as a backup partition (I run Mac OS X 10.7.5). So far it's great.

only works on usb2
i have an issue. My Passport when is connected on usb is always conecting to my pc, Asus G74s with Win7 Home Premium

A cheap way to get laptop hard drives
I was needing 2 1 gb laptop hard drives and they cost about 100 bucks each. I was able to get one of these onsale at best buy for 100 bucks, tore it apart and got (2) 1 TB laptop sata hard drives from the enclosure. so 2 drives for the price of 1.

Works as expected
very fast. I installed a usb 3 card into my old system and hooked this up. It's very fast. I'm getting better speeds from this than my internal drives. I guess that means I need a new computer. :)

Just What I Needed
Plugged it in, backed up my entire hard drive. Love the backup software. Anytime I add to my pictures or music, it backs it up automatically. Perfect

Very Happy
The harddrive got here very fast, and was a breeze to set up. Works great so far, and I am very happy I made the purchase. The computer gurus at work recommended the WD brand and it seems to have a good reputation so I felt comfortable buying it. So far so good.
