I HAVE A SEAGATE IN MY BEDROOM & IT HAS RAN GREAT,THIS SECOND ONE I ORDERED IS FOR MY GIRLFRIEND FOR HER BIRTHDAY & AS I SAID FROM OUT THE BOX IT DID WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSE TO; I INSTALLED A GOOD BIT OF MUSIC FOR HER ON THIS EXTERNAL & ALSO THIS BEING HER 1ST TIME HAVING ONE SHE IS ENJOYING EVERY BIT OF HER NEW EXTERNAL EXPERIENCE,THANK YOU GUYS FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT....

Perfect Deal for Great Drive.
I am very pleased, as this drive is spot on for what is needed, as moving files to it as well as streamlining sizes of files as well as order of files is the epitome of one-click effort!!

Just as expected
plugged it into the power supply, plugged it into the computer and there you go 1.81tb of usable diskspace. Thanks Seagate.

Solid Drive
Set couln't be simpler - remove it from the box and plug it in. I haven't used the back-up utility, so I cannot comment on that or any of the software that came with it. Performance was as expected, and without running any tests, I can only say it performs on a par with other externals USB drives I've had.
