As Expected from ASUS

ASUS has all ways been good to me. Slap it in and works flawless, never a glitch. Simplicity at it's finest, good for every day home use.

Older MB replacement

It makes my older foxcon MB look like snail poop! the ddr 3 is nice. win 8 preview instal was smooth and the drivers for the on board sound card installed with out a hiccup, unlike my older foxcon board

Low feature MB

Very low feature motherboard. Forget this if you want a high performance board.

Good solid monitor

Good monitor, well packaged to avoid damage in shipping, comes with all needed cables. Has decent built in sound and since it is LED (though the box in one location says LCD) it should have a long lifespan.

Couldnt be happier

My first ASUS board went in with no problems. I didn't order a fan with this MoBo but the one from the other system worked just fine.

one word, ASUS

Asus does right by me everytime .. 5 stars

Needed new ATX

This board smaller than previous ATX. The arrangement of conections were alot different and I had to patch in wire splices to make some case connections reach. Also only one chassis fan connection. Fortunately I had a 12 volt plug in connector to power supply to solve that problem. So far running fine.

Great MoBo

Installed it, fired it up, and WALLA perfection it works like its supposed to

Motherboard defective

I did receive a prompt refund of my money, which turned out to be the only positive experience for this order. This is the first time I have received a defective product and considering the frequency with which I use this store, it is somewhat okay that I received one defective product, out opf the many orders I have actually received from them that were shipped in a vert timely manner and the excellent customer service I have always received from them along with the excellent condition of prior products. I will definitely continue to utilize their service and encourage others to do the same!

OK board but trouble with Linux

I bought this board to replace a failing Shuttle SG31 I use as a virtual machine host. Installing Debian 6 Squeeze, I ran into problems because there weren't any open source drivers for the network interface or audio. There are proprietary drivers that solve this problem, but it took some time to chase them down. I was surprised that Asus didn't consider open source movement in their design. Rather than just plugging in the hard disc from the SG31, I had to reinstall the OS from scratch to solve this problem.
